Here are some new photos of Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, wandering around New York City yesterday, looking loved up and happy. It doesn’t seem like either of them minded the presence of the paparazzi, and Andrew couldn’t help but kiss Emma at one point.

I can’t even begin to describe how much I love this coupling – Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield just make sense together, on screen and off-screen. Their careers are both going up – hers more than his, I feel, but maybe he’ll blow everyone away in The Amazing Spiderman. They’re two of the best and brightest of Young Hollywood. And neither of them are jagoffs or narcissistic monsters. Emma seems like a cool girl with her head on straight, and Andrew seems like a bit of a neurotic British boy, but there’s something dashing and sexy about him too. They just make sense. The tall, neurotic English boy and the American redhead with the droll sense of humor. I would watch that movie. Wait, that’s already a movie. Notting Hill!!!!

And yes, I LOVE Andrew’s coat. It’s looks like a woman’s coat from the 1970s, and he almost pulls it off. Like, this is something Mary Tyler Moore would have worn. Do you think Emma dresses him? Do you think she’s like, “Hey, I have this coat, but it’s a little bit too big for me, you should wear it! It’s vintage!” And Andrew is just like, “Whatever you want, my love”????

PS… I love the way he’s holding her hand – the way he’s pulled her hand so it’s against his chest. Sigh… I bet they have great sex.
